What Am I Reading?

I'll be reading Let Him Go by Larry Wilson, which I checked out on OverDrive from my local library. The film adaptation starring Kevin Costner and Diane Lane is supposed to be released to theaters on November 8th, if any theaters are open.

What's in the Mail?


Last month, Lionsgate Home Entertainment sent me The Secret: Dare to Dream on Blu-ray. I did watch it right away, but I've been lazy about writing the review for it. I've started working on the review, and it's coming soon. 
 
Author Jasyn T. Turley kindly sent over of his zombie sequel Weeks: Book 2. I'm going to be reading it sometime this week.



What's New on the Bookshelf?


I hadn't been to the thrift store in several weeks until I stopped by there last Monday. I picked up The Extra-Terrestrial and His Adventure on Earth (E.T. novelization) by William Kotzwinkle, Dark Rivers of the Heart by Dean Koontz, The Wicked Way by Mary Stewart, and Lord John and the Private Matter by Diana Gabaldon. 

Dollar Tree finally got in a few new books. Well, not exactly new, but newish for this particular store. I got two titles - Star Trek: Discovery: The Way to the Stars by Uma McCormack and Phenomena by Annie Jacobsen.

Also, I picked up Becoming Muhammad Ali by James Patterson and Kwame Alexander at Walmart. 

Recent titles on my Kindle are The Lottery and Other Stories by Shirley Jackson, The Guardian by Jeffrey Konvitz, Legion by William Peter Blatty, Star Trek: The Vulcan Academy Murders by Jean Lorrah, Star Trek: Doctor's Orders by Diane Duane, Star Trek: Prime Directive by Judith & Garfield Reeves-Stevens, Star Trek: The Next Generation: Headlong Flight by Dayton Ward, Star Trek: Shadows of the Sun by Michael Jan Friedman, Star Trek: Voyager: The Murdered Sun by Christie Golden, and Star Trek: Enterprise: Last Full Measure by Michael A. Martin and Andy Mangels.

    Theatres over here are pretty much closed due to distributors pulling and delaying releases... So many are going straight to streaming or ppv too. What a time we're living in!
    I hope you enjoy the book and have a good week!

    Well, now. that looks good. I haven't seen Costner in a while... :)
