I don't wear dress shirts very often, but when I do I normally wear the annoying plastic collar stays that came free with the shirt when I purchased it. While putting together my first Holiday Gift Guide, I was contacted by Three Girls Media about the new product CLEVERFIT, which started its funding period on Kickstarter this past August. The company met its kick-starting goal (plus $20,000 extra) and is now officially taking orders, which is just in time for the holiday season.

Like I said above, I don't wear dress shirts with a tie very often, but when I do wear them it would be nice to keep my collar straight and wrinkle free. Therefore, I eagerly accepted to review the product for my Holiday Gift Guide. I was expecting to receive the product more towards November since the Kickstarter ended September 30, but, surprisingly, I received the product several weeks ago, which my review copy is a early one with a "patent pending" written on the box.

The CLEVERFIT Collar Stays comes in a nifty wallet-size black box that easily snaps open to reveal the four collar stays, so you no longer have to worry about losing them, especially on business trips. Unlike other cheap brand stays, you can adjust to about any collar size with CLEVERFIT. With only the slight movement of your thumb you can adjust the collar stay to any size you want it to be. It can easily be adjusted to fit perfectly between a tie and the underside of a shirt collar.

CLEVERFIT fixes a very common problem and can help someone save valuable time. This would make a great Christmas present for a family member or friend. Plus, it can easily fit into a Christmas stocking.
