{4K Ultra HD Review) - Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins (2021)

I knew Hasbro and Paramount Pictures were working on a G.I. Joe prequel reboot, but I must be living under the rock because I didn't realize the film got a theatrical release this year. From what I've read, Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins didn't go over well with the critics and moviegoers. Depending on the source, the budget is between $88 - 110 million and only brought in $37 at the worldwide box office. In other words - it was a major flop.

{Sunday Post} - Halloween Kills, Out of the Rain, and Revival Road

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer!

Good Morning, Everyone!

Don't you just love when everything you had planned for the week never comes to function? That sums up this past week for me. I woke up on Monday with a stiff neck and shoulder, which got worse and worse by the day. It's a pinched nerve that comes and goes as it pleases. Taking a wild guess that my memory foam pillow has something to do with the pain. It has been bothering me lately. I've looked for a replacement, but the stores in my area aren't carrying pillows of any kind. I guess it's another post-pandemic hiccup. I would prefer not to order a new one online, because more than likely I'm not going to like it. I need to psychically touch a pillow to determine if it's the right one for me.

[Review] - Revival Road by Chris DiLeo

PART OF GOD’S PLAN

On an average street in a typical suburban town, a child dies in an all-too-plausible accident. For Sherri Matthews, a neighbor who has dedicated her life to God’s calling, this is part of God’s plan. And when the child wakes in the morgue seemingly healed, Sherri knows she must now prepare the way for what comes next.

A SINISTER POWER AT WORK

“Something big is coming,” the revived child promises. His pet dog, dead and buried weeks prior, has come back as well, but more monster than mutt. Abbott French and Ellie Pike have never trusted Sherri or her unwavering belief and don’t believe these resurrections are God’s work. But how to explain when his sickly mother dies and is resurrected? And what about the horror Chance Gold encounters in the woods and the voice that insists, You’re mine? Or the secret a mental patient who murdered her friend knows? Or the terrible thing Carl Nichols is hiding in his basement? Or the hundreds of crows gathering across the street as if in anticipation?

{Sunday Post} - Breathless, 61 Hours, and Audrey Rose

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer!

Good Morning, Everyone!

I cannot believe October is almost over. Honestly, it doesn't feel like Halloween to me. It's my favorite holiday, but I'm not in the mood for All Hallow's Eve this year. Every October, I watch a slew of horror movies, but the only one I have seen is Halloween Kills. I've seen the slasher sequel twice on Peacock. While it's far from perfect, I like it slightly better than the 2018 reboot.
