My Thoughts
If you're a horror fan, then you already know Halloween Kills received mixed reviews from die-hard fans. Some liked it, many hated it, and others had mixed feelings about it. For the most part, I enjoyed Halloween Kills better than Halloween (2018). However, there were many things that I didn't like, such as the cringy dialogue, the entire second act, and the pacing. I am over 100 pages into the novelization, and the author is filling in the story gaps. Some scenes are in a different order than the movie, which fixes the pacing issue. I already skipped the final pages. It has the same ending that appeared in the test screenings. I'll try to finish reading it tonight and have my review posted either tomorrow or on Halloween.
Sorry it didn't work as much as you expected.
ReplyDeleteI usually don't read/watch horror, so sorry I can't share my thoughts.
I hope you have some great reads for the season.
