{Sunday Post} — The A-Team 5, Millennium Falcon, and Shotgun Johnny

The Caffeinated Book Reviewer's Kimberly hosts a weekly meme called "The Sunday Post"!

* Weekly Tidbits *

  • I caught a cold from a relative on Thanksgiving and have been under the weather.

  • I had an unbearable toothache for several days. It turns out I was allergic to the toothpaste I was using.

What Am I Currently Reading?

I'm reading Bladestay by Jackie Johnson, which I plan on finishing tomorrow because my review is due on the 13th for a blog tour. Then I'll move on to Ricochet, Losing Spring, and Making It So

What's in the Mailbox?

Bladestay, which I already talked about, is the only book I received in the mail in the last two weeks. About two weeks ago or so, I was sent a copy of Saw X on Blu-ray (you can find the review link somewhere in this post). Also, I received Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies on DVD and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: Season Two on Blu-ray.

What's New on the Shelf?

Even though I already have this title on my Kindle, I purchased Jack Carr's Only the Dead in paperback.

I picked up two $3-Dollar General paperbacks: Shotgun Johnny by William W. Johnstone and J.A. Johnstone and Fast Ice by Clive Cussler and Graham Brown. At Walmart, I bought Clive Cussler's The Sea Wolves by Jack Du Brul.

I stopped by the thrift store on November 27th and found those Star Wars books that I thought I got a glance at on my last visit. The Star Wars titles are Millennium Falcon by James Luceno, Showdown at Centerpoint by Roger Macbride Allen, and The New Jedi Order: Dark Journey by Elaine Cunningham. Please note that the latter title is a repeat for me, but this one is a better copy. I also got The A-Team 5: Ten Percent of Trouble by Charles Heath.

New eBooks on my Kindle are Chrysalis by Lincoln Child, Star Trek: Savage Trade by Tony Daniel, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Ascendance by David R. George III, and Star Trek: Dwellers in the Crucible by Margaret Wander Bonanno.

  2. Toothaches are the worst.

    Escape Route looks fun, and crucible has that old school look I love :):)
