Where to Purchase?

I've been meaning to watch on Angela's Christmas on Netflix ever since it debuted last year but like many other titles on the streaming service, I never got around to watching it. However, I finally did watch it after receiving a DVD review copy for this year's Holiday Gift Guide. The animated film is based on a children's book, Angela and the Baby Jesus, by the late author Frank McCourt. The plot was inspired by a story his mother, Angela, told him and his brother, Malachy (who provides the voice narration in Angela's Christmas), when they were children.

Set in Limerick, Ireland on Christmas Eve in 1914, Angela's Christmas tells the tale of a young girl who "borrows" the baby Jesus from a church's nativity set in the attempt to take it home and keep it warm before returning it  on Christmas Day.

Overall, Angela's Christmas is a cute and heartwarming Christmas story with a great voice-cast and stunning animation. It would make a great stocking stuffer this holiday season!
