  Billy's Answer

The books I own were either purchased by me, given to me as a gift, or sent to me to review on this blog. If there is a book that I don't want to keep anymore, I normally donate it to Salvation Army.

  1. I have almost the same answer, but I keep all my books. I need to check this Salvation Army I keep hearing about...

  2. I donate any I can, but unfortunately, due to some restrictions, I cannot do that with my physical ARCs - of which I receive many. So sad!

  3. I keep mine as well! I do the occasional donation, usually to a Little Free Library which I discovered a few fairly close to me.

  4. When an author asks me to review a book, I specifically ask for an e-copy so I won't have physical clutter. There is only so much room on a bookshelf! When I pick out a published book to read, I make good use of our wonderful library, so so I don't buy that many books, but when I do, again, I tend to get an ebook.

  5. I usually try to sell my unwanted print copies first (except ARCs obviously), but if I don't find a buying I give them to charity too.

  6. 70% of my books come from the library or discounted locations, while the remainder are from subscriptions services and review opportunities.

Since I 'actively' read any books I have purchased, I keep them. I am sure very few are interested in my interactions with the story and questions that come to mind (which I jot down in the margin). But, on occasion, close friends have expressed interest in seeing my comments and thoughts.
