  1. Yeah, I think it's a good idea to assess a potential mate's liking for books and reading, before the relationship gets very far. Although, as the saying goes, love is blind.....

Its' still possible to negotiate differing nerd passions with your spouse when you're married, but obviously, trying to find a more compatible companion would seem to be the most logical choice. So, single man, enjoy your literary freedom! When you wish to find a wife, just haunt bookstore author signings and other literary events. (Gee, hindsight is always 20-20, isn't it?)

    Happy Friday!! : )

Makes things hard sometimes when I just want to blabber on for hours and 10 minutes into it you can see his eyes glassing over! lol

  5. Hi Billy,
My hubby doesn't read but he doesn't mind my obsession. I usually just hang out with him and read. Have a great day!

  8. It is rare to find a man into books. You more than likely find a woman how likes to read.

  9. You're more likely to find my husband reading a graphic novel these days, but he does enjoy reading. Mysteries and fantasy are his favorite. We share some of the same favorite authors. Although he's much more picky than I am.

  10. Billy, I agree. If I was single I would want to make sure the person I was interested in read. My poor daughter who is dating once had a date ask her why she read so much or wanted to write YA books. Yep he was not given a 2nd date.
