My Answer:
Yeah, I would be a little uncomfortable asking a complete stranger what they are reading. I don't see very many people reading printed books as normally they are reading from their smart phone or Kindle. It is none of my business what they are reading.

ReplyDeleteI'm the same way - I don't quite feel comfortable asking a complete stranger! Of course that doesn't mean I'm not madly curious!
ReplyDeleteI feel comfortable asking. Most folks enjoy sharing what they are reading.
ReplyDeleteI have never had a problem with anyone being upset.
Have a great reading weekend.
Happy Hopping!!

My Blog Hop Answer
Hi Billy,
ReplyDeleteI probably wouldn't feel comfortable approaching a stranger either - but if the book looked particularly interesting, I might try to get a peek at the cover and make note of the title for future research! :-)
I wanted to invite you to join us at the Book Nook at Create With Joy - a new party I've just launched for book lovers! Please check it out when you have a moment - I'd love for you to be a part of our community! :-)
I agree - since lots of people are reading on ereaders, it's hard to know what they may be reading to feel comfortable enough to start a conversation.
