Do you feel comfortable enough approaching a stranger when you see he/she is reading a book to ask what they are reading?

My Answer: 

Yeah, I would be a little uncomfortable asking a complete stranger what they are reading. I don't see very many people reading printed books as normally they are reading from their smart phone or Kindle. It is none of my business what they are reading.

    I'm the same way - I don't quite feel comfortable asking a complete stranger! Of course that doesn't mean I'm not madly curious!

    I feel comfortable asking. Most folks enjoy sharing what they are reading.

    I have never had a problem with anyone being upset.

    Hi Billy,

    I probably wouldn't feel comfortable approaching a stranger either - but if the book looked particularly interesting, I might try to get a peek at the cover and make note of the title for future research! :-)

    I agree - since lots of people are reading on ereaders, it's hard to know what they may be reading to feel comfortable enough to start a conversation.
