Brilliant HD - Deluxe Teeth Whitening Kit Review

As many of my blog readers already know, I am a heavy coffee drinker and while there is nothing wrong with drinking coffee, the habit does come at a price - stained teeth.

Luckily for me, I tried out a teeth whitening kit last month. I am now determined to keep a bright smile for 2015, so I applied to review the Brilliant HD - Deluxe Teeth Whitening Kit and I was one of the lucky bloggers picked to review it.

The kit features:

2 10ML Syringes of Whitening Gel (Carbamide Peroxide)

1 Remineralization Gel Syringe

2 Mouth Trays

Tray Case

Pros: The kit contains two mouth trays which have to be placed in boiling water for a few seconds before placing them in your mouth. This way the trays will be a perfect fit around your teeth. (Note: keep a close eye on the tray when it is in the boiling water as it can cave in quickly!) There is a neat little case to store the trays in. The whitening gel syringes are bigger than others that I have tried. This kit comes with a remineralization gel, which sometimes has to be purchased separately with other kits.

Cons: The first thing I noticed was that there wasn't an application brush to wipe the whitening gel onto my teeth. The directions on the box suggests using a Q-tip to brush the gel onto my teeth, but the gel soaks into the Q-tip more than a brush does, which resulted in less gel on my teeth. Luckily, I still have an an application brush from another kit, so I used it instead. The second thing I noticed is that there is no LED light with this kit. Others have a LED Accelerator Light to enhance the whitening gel.

My Final Thoughts: Overall, the Brilliant HD - Deluxe Teeth Whitening Kit is a nice starter kit, especially if you have never used an at-home teeth whitening kit before.
