My Answer: 

No. I don't think I would want to visit a location that was featured in a book, as when I'm reading I have created a specific picture of the location in my mind and I'm afraid I'll be disappointed when I see it in person.

    My city I "HAD" to visit was Barcelona.

  3. I can see how some settings are probably embellished and not as romantic and/or beautiful as in the books.

    I rarely travel, so I haven't visited any of my favorite novels' settings, but I do have a wish list of places to visit in my post on the Blog Hop.
