Review:

As someone with two left feet, I have never heard of the dance called Bachata. After doing a quick Google search, I learned that it originated in the Dominican Republic and now the dance is used all over the world. Dancing has never been my thing, but I was looking for some low-impact exercises and became interested in learning how to dance.

For the last few days, I have been trying out the Bachata Dance Mastery System from DancyCrazy.com. This set features 3 different discs - Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. There is a male and female instructors, whom give step-by-step instructions on how to Bachata, so if you don't know anything about dancing, like me, then you're good to go.

Now if you are already an expert at Bachata, then these DVDs may not be for you, but I would recommend them for beginners. The video production is somewhat lower-quality than other workout DVDs on the market, though it does have a neat DVD menu. This set features the same yellow curtain background and the same linoleum floor which ironically matches my basement flooring.

Overall, I think the Bachata Dance Mastery System is a great way to learn how to dance. Though you can use the DVDs by yourself, I do recommend getting a dancing partner as the Bachata is meant for two.
