Review:

Now available on DVD fro Nickelodeon is Paw Patrol: Winter Rescues, featuring seven exciting episodes. The single disc DVD can be watched in English, Spanish and French.

Paw Patrol is an a Canadian/American preschool animated program that debuted in the fall of 2013, airing on Nickelodeon in the United States and  TVOKids in Canada. The series has become popular with children and is currently in its second season.

The series centers on six puppies, Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Zuma, Rubble, and Skye, whom all spend their days rescuing animals and humans and saving the day from whatever bad thing that comes their way. They are lead by Ryder, a tech-savvy ten-year-old boy.

Episodes on the single-disc are:

Pups Save Christmas - Ryder and the Paw Patrol must help Santa deliver presents after Santa's reindeer runaway.
Pups on Ice - Ryder goes snowboarding on Jake's Mountain, but when an accident occurs it is up to the Paw Patrol to save the day.
Pups and the Snow Monster - When strange sighting of a monster are reported, it is up to the Paw Patrol to get to the bottom of it.
Pups Save the Treats - A van containing a new puppy food slides into the frozen bay, so it is up to the Paw Patrol to find locate the van.
Pups Get a Lift - The ski lift breaks down and strands Katie and Cali in it, so it is up to Ryder and the Paw Patrol to rescue them.
Pups Get a Rubble - Learn how Rubble joined the Paw Patrol.
Pups Save Warlrus  - Wally gets trapped underwater in a net, so it is up to the Paw Patrol to save him.

I have to admit that I don't really keep track of preschool cartoons. This is first time I have heard of  the Paw Patrol computer-animated series. The plots in each episode are fast-paced and the characters are adorable. I can see why the program is so popular. Overall, I enjoyed watching the seven-episodes and I recommend the DVD to everyone.
