With all the technology (cell phones, tablets, laptops, etc.) there are way too many distractions for kids when they should be reading a book. Now if you have ever read the Bible, then you probably know that it isn't exactly kid-friendly. Available now to own from David C. Cook is the Treasury of Bible Stories: Rhythmical Rhymes of Biblical Times Magnificent Tales by Kelly Pulley. Throughout 20 different stories the author retells the Bible in a family-friendly manner with dazzling illustrations to go along with each story.

The stories include:

The author use creative rhymes and colorful illustrations to the tell the greatest stories every told to younger readers. Bibicial stories can be R-rated at times, so it probably wasn't an easy task for the author to write a clean version for kids, but he did so wonderfuly. At the moment that I'm writings this, I'm the only one that has read the book in my family, but I do plan on giving this to my younger cousins at Thanksgiving this year, which is only a few months away. I think they'll enjoy looking at the illustrations, as my cousins can't read yet. Overall, the Treasury of Bible Stories: Rhythmical Rhymes of Biblical Times is an adorable book that will make a great gifts for kids.
