This week's question submitted by Elizabeth.

Silver's Reviews

When you are writing your reviews, do you write them as you are reading or wait until you are completely done with the book?

2. Enter the link to your post in the linky list below (enter your Blog Name and the direct link to your post answering this week’s question. Failure to do so will result in removal of your link).

3. Visit other blogs in the list and comment on their posts. Try to spend some time on the blogs reading other posts and possible become a new follower.  The purpose of the hop is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

My Answer:
I wait until I have finished reading the book before I start writing the review. If the book I'm reviewing is part of a book blog tour, then I typically have a draft post already set up with the scheduled date, book cover, and author information.

  1. I wait as well. But I do take notes when I'm reading.

  2. I wait until I finished generally too. I haven't got into book blog tour so haven't had to think of that.

  4. I also try to have at least a skeleton post ready for blog tours. Like you, I don't write my review until after the book has been read.

  5. I write at the very end, too. Writing it as I go would probably end up in it not making sense at all. I'd probably have to go back and edit the whole thing, anyway!

I adore reading reader feedback! I will, however, remove all spam and pointless comments.
