NetGalley and IDW Publishing were nice enough to let me view the upcoming paperback release of the Doctor Who Dave Gibbons Collection.

The graphic novels in this collection are:

The Iron Legion; City of the Damned; The Star Beast; The Dogs of Doom; The Time Witch; Dragon's Claw; The Collector; Dreamers of Earth; The Life Bringer; Way of the World; Spider-God; The Deal; The Free Fall Warriors; The Neutron Knights; The Tides of Time; and Stars Fell on Stockbridge.

The Doctor Who Weekly use to have a weekly comic strip, in which years later each of the strip's story arcs where released in separate issues. Now IDW Publishing is releasing the best issues of artist Dave Gibbons.

These issues are set during the fourth Doctor's timeline, where he battles the Roman Empire robot centurians, Wrarth Warriors, Daleks, and other creatures. The Doctor also reunites with K-9 for a few issues.

I became a Doctor Who fan when the new incarnation was briefly aired on the former Scifi Channel. I had a wonderful time reading these amazing stories and I'm sure other Doctor Who fans will like them too.

I genuinely cherish the thoughts and insights of my readers, and I wholeheartedly welcome your engagement. However, to foster a truly constructive dialogue, I’ll be keeping a careful eye on the comments section. This means I’ll be moderating to weed out any spammy detritus, overly harsh critiques, or contributions that don’t add anything meaningful to the conversation. Think of it as my little corner of the internet—a space where everyone can share their perspectives without the noise. Let’s make this a place where ideas can flourish and grow, rather than wither away in the shadows of irrelevance.
