[Review] - Run, Rose, Run by James Patterson & Dolly Parton

Recently, I read the newest James Patterson novel - Run, Rose, Run. The New York Times Bestselling Author teamed up with the Country music legend Dolly Parton, who recorded a companion album, Rose's Story. (Note - Sorry, folks, the album isn't included with the book. You have to purchase it separately. Or you can do what I did, listen to the album on Dolly's YouTube Channel.

{Ramblings} - A Vintage Home Library

Every year when Spring arrives, I look around my living space and have an uncontrollable urge to declutter everything. Even though I donated nearly twenty boxes full of books to a Salvation Army earlier in the year, it seems like I still don't have enough space. It's not that I have tons of books sitting around collecting dust. They're either on bookcases or stacked up in closets.

{Sunday Post} - Shadows in the Mind's Eyes and Star Trek

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer!

Good Morning, Everyone!

What Am I Reading?

Reading wasn't on my list of priorities this past week. I haven't touched Dune in forever. I have no clue what page I'm currently on. I read a little bit of Terence Fisher: Master of Gothic Cinema, which I'm on page 211.

{Easter Movies on Pure Flix}—Risen (2016)

“Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads and saying, “So! You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, come down from the cross and save yourself!” In the same way the chief priests and the teachers of the law mocked him among themselves. “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! Let this Messiah, this king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Those crucified with him also heaped insults on him. Mark 15:29-32 (NIV)

Easter is just around the corner, and there's no time like the present to teach your kids about the holiday's true meaning. No, I'm referring to chocolate bunnies, egg hunts, and the Easter Bunny. I'm referring to the death and resurrection of Jesus - the hallmarks of the Christian faith. Easter is the time of rejoicing and remembering the sacrifice Jesus made for all of us.
