{Sunday Post} - Shadows in the Mind's Eyes and Star Trek

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer!

Good Morning, Everyone!

What Am I Reading?

Reading wasn't on my list of priorities this past week. I haven't touched Dune in forever. I have no clue what page I'm currently on. I read a little bit of Terence Fisher: Master of Gothic Cinema, which I'm on page 211.

What's New On The Bookshelf?

Kregel sent me Shadows in the Mind's Eye by Janyre Tromp for an upcoming blog tour on April 26th.

New titles on my Kindle are Star Trek: First Contact by J.M. Dillard, Star Trek: TNG: Tooth and Claw by Doranna Durgin, Star Trek: Mudd in Your Eye by Jerry Oltion, Star Trek: Shell Game by Melissa Crandall, and Star Trek: Double, Double by Michael Jan Friedman.

  1. Risen looks interesting. Done by the guy who did Robin Hood, huh? Hmm. Reminds me too somewhat of the Robe.

Shadow in the Mind Eye when I saw that I immediately thought of Splinter of the Mind's Eye, even though it's of course totally different. I must have Star Wars on the brain...

I genuinely cherish the thoughts and insights of my readers, and I wholeheartedly welcome your engagement. However, to foster a truly constructive dialogue, I’ll be keeping a careful eye on the comments section. This means I’ll be moderating to weed out any spammy detritus, overly harsh critiques, or contributions that don’t add anything meaningful to the conversation. Think of it as my little corner of the internet—a space where everyone can share their perspectives without the noise. Let’s make this a place where ideas can flourish and grow, rather than wither away in the shadows of irrelevance.
