{Ramblings} - Coffee, Frenzy, and Soho

Caffeinated Delight At Night

For me, there's nothing better way to cap off of the end of the week than drinking a smooth cup of coffee. More specifically, I'm referring to Verena Street's Cow Tipper, a bag of ground coffee that's been sitting on the coffee bar since the tail end of 2021. I grabbed a bag while shopping at Price Chopper in a nearby county, and if my memory serves me correctly, it was on sale. I don't know why I was saving the Cow Tipper back. Tonight was a good of a night than any to try it out.

{Sunday Post} - Fifth-Grade Zombies and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer!

Good Morning, Everyone!

Air Conditioning is a Necessity

I planned to have this post written on Saturday afternoon, but I crashed and burned before 7 PM. Why? I've had a couple of all-nighters this past week. And, no, I'm not referring to binge drinking. I'm not a big drinker, to begin with, so that could never be the cause for going days without sleep. What it comes down to is I have had a bit too much on my plate, and I had to forgo sleep in exchange for getting a few neglected things done. I attempted to rest on Friday night, but lo and behold, the air conditioner died and made getting some shuteye nearly impossible. Of course, finding a technician on a Saturday morning took forever and costed extra. The fan motor and capacitor were kaput. By 1 PM, the air conditioner was running smoothly again.

Sunday Post - If It Bleeds, The Outilers, and The Slimer

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer!

Good Evening, Everyone!

After self-quarantining for over a month, I finally ventured out to do some shopping over the weekend. Wearing a facemask and gloves, I arrived at Walmart yesterday at 8:30 a.m. Let's just say the place was a madhouse and jammed pack with senior citizens, which is weird, as I thought the store was letting the elderly only shop an hour before my arrival. Nobody was wearing a face mask! You would think the elderly would be the ones wearing facemasks to prevent from being infected by the coronavirus, but that's wasn't the case in my neck of the woods. I did my best to do the six-foot rule, but it was difficult with other people literally running into me. People need to learn how to push a shopping-cart properly!
