Happy Sunday, Everyone!
I hope you are all safe this Memorial Weekend. I'm sorry I didn't post last week; I just didn't feel up to it. The last two weeks have been very busy, and I need time to rest.
This Past Week...
I shared a review that was not very positive about a book called The Madness by Dawn Kurtagich, and I interviewed Kayleigh Dobbs, who wrote a book called THE END.
On my other blog, Gunsmoke & Grit, I wrote about the book "Colton Gray, Deputy U.S. Marshal." This book is said to be written by William W. Johnstone and J.A. Johnstone, but it was actually written by a ghostwriter.
Coming Next Week...
Tomorrow, on Memorial Day, I will review a book called Memorials by Richard Chizmar. Later in the week, I will review The Queen by Nick Cutter. I will review The Outcasts by Al Cody on Wednesday for Gunsmoke & Grit.
Bookmarked...
I will start reading a book called Shadow of the Solstice by Anne Hillerman tomorrow. It is a library book that I need to return by June 4th. After that, I will finally read Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: Toward the Night by James Swallow. I am taking my time with Around the House by Henry & Janice Holt Giles; I am on page 36.
New to the Bookshelf...
I got some new ARCs, including a paperback of Sentinel by Mark Greaney and Line of Demarcation by M. P. Woodward. I will review these in June.
I also found some books at a thrift store: The Kingdom by Clive Cussler with Grant Blackwood, Lost City by Clive Cussler with Paul Kemprecos, and Skinwalkers by Tony Hillerman.
From eBay, I bought three nonfiction books and an anthology by Janice Holt Giles: Around the House, 40 Acres and No Mule,The Knita Years, and Wellspring along with a book about Janice Holt Giles: A Writer's Life by Dianne Watkins Stuart.
Finally, I received Going Home in the Dark by Dean Koontz, which I ordered from Amazon.

I'm going has to check out those westerns. I have heard of Skinwalkers by Tony Hillerman but never read it.
