Billy's Answer:

My reading speed really depends on how engaged I am with the story. If the plot is exciting, I can finish a book in just a few hours or a couple of days. However, if the book doesn't grab my attention, it might take me anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to get through it—again, it all depends on my level of interest. The page length also plays a role; longer books usually take more time to read. Plus, real-life events and times when I'm just not feeling like reading can slow me down, too.

  1. I agree 100%! I had a long winded answer for this! There are so many varying factors into how long it will take me to finish a book. Sometimes it can be super quick--although nowhere near as quick as my friends apparently, lol--and other times it can take over a week! But yes, enjoyment does need to factor in too. It's probably 1 every 100 books or so that I find I am not enjoying something as well as I thought I would, but otherwise I end up enjoying my picks to some degree!

  2. Page length and life has an impact on me too. Having a 21 month old and a 6 year old makes for a busy time 😂

    Have a great weekend!

  3. That is so true, Billy. If I'm not interested or engaged, it takes longer, and I may also just stop reading. :)
