While on an errand, I ran across Choose Your Own Adventure: Stranger Things: Heroes and Monsters by Rana Tahir. I wasn't aware they were still making Choose Your Own Adventures books. I remember reading the Dungeon & Dragons ones during my childhood. I didn't hesitate to pick up Heroes and Monsters, though I am way out of the reader age group.
After striking out to find any new titles at the local Dollar Tree, I visited a different one on Thursday. I found three Westerns: The Blood of Innocents by Sean Lynch, A MacCallister Christmas by J.A. Johnstone, and The Jackals: Every Mother's Son by J.A. Johnstone. And one thriller, A Woman Alone by Nina Laurin.
At the Salvation Army thrift store, I picked up The Adventures of Vin Fiz by Clive Clusser, Haunted by R.L. Stine, The Wizard of Zao by Lin Carter, The Aquitaine Progression by Robert Ludlum, The Girl Who Supposed to Die by April Henry, Shadow House: No Way Out by Dan Problocki, and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. The latter book is a second copy for me; the only difference is the tie-in cover to the failed Tim Burton film.

As of this writing, Simon & Schuster has yet to update the monthly Star Trek eBook sale page. Last month's batch of books is on sale till March 3rd, which is today, so they should update it tomorrow. There were nearly 50 titles still on sale between $.99 to $3.99 on Friday. I'm not sure if the following Star Trek titles are part of this month's sale; I got them for 99 cents each: Strange New Worlds II, Strange New Worlds IV, Make It So: Leadership Lessons from Star Trek: The Next Generation by Wess Roberts, Ph.D., and Bill Ross, Deep Space Nine: Legends of the Ferengi by Ira Steven Behr and Robert Hewitt Wolfe, and Voyager: The Nanotech War by Steven Piziks.
Other new titles on my Kindle are The Fly on the Wall by Tony Hillerman, The House Across the Lake by Riley Sager, and Impact by Douglas Preston.
Violet Orlandi rocks.
