• On Friday, the dryer decided to quit yet again. I ordered some cheap parts from Amazon, which arrived late yesterday. The good news is that the dryer has power and heats up. The bad news is that it isn't cycling correctly, so I'll work on that this morning.

What Am I Currently Reading? 

I'm reading Girl on Trial by Kathleen Fine; my review will be on Tuesday as part of a blog tour. My trusty bookmark has been placed inside Tom Clancy's Weapons Grade by Don Bentley, so I'll be reading it soon.

I'm still under the weather and didn't feel like writing this past week. However, I did read a couple of books; I'll post those reviews as soon as I get them written.

What's New on the Shelf?

I found a new "reprint" paperback edition of Bentley Little's The Vanishing at Walmart.

I didn't have much luck with book hunting at the thrift store. The place was a mess, with no "new" books in sight. I did pick up the paperback Nothing to Fear by Karen Rose, which has been sitting in the store collecting dust for several weeks. It has some wear and tear that'll need mending.

The local Dollar Tree has a new batch of books in stock. I grabbed The Other Passenger by Louise Candlish, The Minders by John Marrs, and The Healing Powers of Coffee by Cal Orey.
