Billy's Answer
The only title that comes to mind is Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. I attempted to read it before the film adaptation's release in 2018, but I couldn't get into it. However, I'll be giving another go at it soon because, for some weird reason, I bought the sequel, Ready Player Two, a few weeks ago.

I glanced at the sequel two different times in the store, and, eventually, I talked myself into buying it.
DeleteThat’s funny! I don’t think I’ve ever bought a sequel to a book I didn’t finish. You’re invested even more now. I never did read Ready Player One but I liked the movie. My husband and daughter both liked the book. 😊
ReplyDeleteI saw the movie and liked it, too. And that's the main reason why I'm willing to give the book another try.
DeleteHopefully you'll enjoy and finish Ready Player One second time around, since you bought the 2nd! And I've only had 1 DNF ever, and that was The Textile Planet by Sue Lange, it was just so weird and dense!
