Where To Purchase?
Once Upon a Dickens Christmas features 3 holiday romances by Michelle Griep that are inspired by the great works of Charles Dickens (a.k.a. — the author of A Christmas Carol). I have to admit I had never heard of Michelle Griep until I learned about this release a few months ago. After reading the three novellas, I'm really impressed with her writing style. All of the main characters are likeable, the descriptions are detailed, and the dialogues are well-written.
A Tale of Two Hearts (inspired by A Tale of Two Cities) and The Old Lace Shop (inspired by The Old Curiosity Shop) have the same of theme of "second chances" and they're both enjoyable reads. My favorite out of the three stories happens to be 12 Days at Bleakly Manor, which was clearly inspired by Charles Dickens' Bleak House.
Overall, I loved reading all three tales in Once Upon A Dickens Christmas. It would make a great gift for any reader!
