Sara's eyes widened. "You took the pills in front of a camera? I've heard of that, but---" She took a deep breath and her voice lowered. "You didn't want a life without friends---and neither did Mrs. Beeson."

  My Thoughts

I am really behind in my reading. I was planning on reading A Justified Murder this week, but I didn't get around to it as I'm still reading The Lost Night. Between moving my grandma to a nursing home, moving her belongings to a storage unit, and dealing with her being in and out of the hospital, I guess you can say I've been stressed. I just got over a bad cold sore and now I have another one forming. I only get cold sores when I'm stressed!!! And the ongoing "winter" weather isn't helping a bit!! It'll officially be spring next week; well, at least on the calendar it will be spring! I'm hoping warmer weather will arrive soon.

  3. The cover implies a lot about what might be inside the book. Nicely done.

I genuinely cherish the thoughts and insights of my readers, and I wholeheartedly welcome your engagement. However, to foster a truly constructive dialogue, I’ll be keeping a careful eye on the comments section. This means I’ll be moderating to weed out any spammy detritus, overly harsh critiques, or contributions that don’t add anything meaningful to the conversation. Think of it as my little corner of the internet—a space where everyone can share their perspectives without the noise. Let’s make this a place where ideas can flourish and grow, rather than wither away in the shadows of irrelevance.
