  2. I have never heard of The House of the Seven Gables. I guess I was not interested in Hawthorne, since I did not like The Scarlet Letter.

    1. I'm not the biggest fan of The Scarlet Letter either. I remember being forced to read it for an English class during High School.

  3. Never read that one. I know we read some Hawthorne in school at some point, but I don't think it was ever a novel length piece.

    1. I've never been to the Salem, MA, but I've always wanted to visit there. I have ancestors who lived around in Maine around the time of the Salem witch trials.
