I'd heard of The House of the Seven Gables but never looked up the plot til now. It looks pretty interesting! Have a great weekend 😊

DeleteI have never heard of The House of the Seven Gables. I guess I was not interested in Hawthorne, since I did not like The Scarlet Letter.
ReplyDeleteI'm not the biggest fan of The Scarlet Letter either. I remember being forced to read it for an English class during High School.
DeleteNever read that one. I know we read some Hawthorne in school at some point, but I don't think it was ever a novel length piece.

Yeah, I had to read Hawthrone during school too, but The House of the Seven Gables was never one of them.

I've never been to the Salem, MA, but I've always wanted to visit there. I have ancestors who lived around in Maine around the time of the Salem witch trials.
