Now available in bookstores is The Berenstain Bears: Bear Country Fun Sticker & Activity Book by Jan & Mike Bernestain.

Young readers have enjoyed reading the adventures of Papa, Mama, Brother, Sister and Honey Bear for decades. The original husband & wife duo authors (Stan & Jan) have sadly both passed away, but their son Mike has continued to write and illustrate more Berenstain Bears books. The most recent books have been published by ZonderKidz under the Living Lights series; adding a religious themes to the stories.

Made for ages 4-8, the 32-page activity book comes with over 50 reusable stickers.

The activities featured are:

Final Thoughts: While I have mixed feelings about the most recent Berenstain Bears novels, I have thoroughly enjoyed flipping through this activity books. The pictures/illustrations are very colorful, the coloring pages are cute and all the puzzles are well-done. At only $6.99 retail, younger kids will have hours of fun with all the activities in the book. Overall, I think The Berenstain Bears: Bear Country Fun Sticker & Activity Book is an adorable book for kids. I plan on giving my copy to my younger cousins.

About the Authors: Stan and Jan Berenstain introduced the first Berenstain Bear books in 1962. Mike Berenstain grew up watching his parents work together to write about and draw these lovable bears. Eventually he started drawing and writing about them too.  Though Stan died in 2005, and Jan in 2012, Mike continues to create the delightful Bear adventures from the family home and studio in Pennsylvania, in an area that looks much like the sunny dirt road deep in Bear Country.
