Fun Halloween Crafts For Kids

I'm sure everyone will be busy this month buying candy for trick-or-treaters, decorating the yard for Halloween Night and searching for the perfect costume either for your kids or for yourself, but don't forget that October is a great time to make nifty crafts!

Oriental Trading has many different crafts for kids, including the Peanuts Halloween Stickers Scenes ($5.99 retail). It contains 12 - 11" x 8 1/2" paper backgrounds that resembles the pumpkin patch from the classic Halloween Special - It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!, along with 12 - 11" x 8 1/2" sticker sheets.

I received the Peanuts Halloween Stickers Scenes along with a two other crafts (I'll get to those later in this post) from Oriental Trading back in late August. I couldn't wait until Halloween, so I eagerly opened the package and made the cute Peanuts scene (see below for the photo). It's simple to put together. All you have to do is peel whatever stickers you want and place them on the paper background.

I'm sure almost everyone has seen the Charlie Brown Halloween Special, so I'm sure this sticker scenes set will appeal to both children and adults.

I was also sent the Peanuts Halloween Magnet Craft Kit ($6.25 retail), which comes with 3 different magnet designs (4 each) - Happy Halloween, Trick-or-Treat and BOO!. Each magnet (measuring 4 1/2" x 4 1/2) is made from self-adhesive foam pieces and is pre-packaged per kit. It comes with instructions, magnets and extra pieces.

This is a cute little craft for kids or any adult Charlie Brown fan. The magnet kits are really simple to put together. Just pull of the adhesive paper on the back of the foam pieces. Then place the pieces on the foam background. The magnets also have a adhesive backing, so you attach them to the backsides of the foam backgrounds. Lastly, Peanuts magnetsis a great way to display the Peanuts Halloween Stickers Scenes on your refrigerator.

The last craft product that I was sent was the Halloween Prism Sticker Assortment (retails for $6.75). It with 3 rolls (100 stickers per roll) featuring Jack-O'-Lanterns, Ghosts, and Candy Corn. Each sticker has a cool shimmer and glimmer effect. This is a great price for 300 stickers. Kids will have fun putting these stickers on their notebooks and book bags. They could also wear a sticker or two on their Halloween costumes. Additionally, you can give away these stickers to trick-or-treaters on Halloween Night!
