Billy's Thoughts:

I'm sure there will be plenty of shopper taking advantage of the Cyber Monday deals today, but before you buy something just because it is on sale, you should think outside the box and get something special for a specific family member or friend. I'm sure there is at least one coin collector in every family, so that is why I'm featuring the 2013 & 2014 Presidential Dollar Year Sets from Littleton Coin Company in this year's Holiday Gift Guide.

Beginning in 2007, four Presidential Dollars were released yearly to the public. Each coin featured the President of the United States in chronological order that is until the Treasury Department decided to slow the number of circulated coins in late 2011 and by the end of 2012 only a small number of uncirculated Presidential Dollars were being printed for collectors only, so basically you had to pre-order the coins online.

The good news is that you don't have to buy  24 Presidential Dollars just to place one coin in your coin book. Now you can purchase all four coins released in a single year that are already stored in a colorful plastic case from Littleton Coin Company.

The 2013 Presidential Dollar Year Set features the coins of William McKinley (25th President), Theodore Rossevelt (26th President), William Howard Taft (27th President) and Woodrow Wilson (28th President).

The 2014 Presidential Dollar Year Set features the coins of Warren G. Harding (29th President), Calvin Coolidge (30th President), Herbert Hoover (31st President) and Franklin D. Roosevelt (32nd President).

Each coin set costs under $14 and features a picture and a few facts about each President. I think the sets are nicely put together and would make a great Christmas gift or stocking stuffer for any coin collector. Also, if you are looking for other coins, coin books or coin sets, Littleton Coin Company has plenty to choice from on their website.
