I know! I know! Like the last thing I need is more books when I already have gobs of books at home on my bookshelves and piled up in closets, but I can't pass a good bargain. Plus, the library book sale had newer books this year.
I bought two Jane Kirkpatrick hardbacks (which I don't remember the titles) for my grandmother. Then I bought eight books for myself.
The books are:
Turn Up The Heat: A Gourmet Girl Mystery
by Jessica Conant-Park & Susan Conant
The Observations
by Jane Harris
Hope Rekindled
Striking a Match, Book 3
by Tracie Peterson
The Help
by Kathryn Stockett
The Foretelling
by Alice Hoffman
Dust and Shadow: An Account of the Ripper Killings
by Dr. John H. Watson & Lyndsay Faye
Devil May Care: The New James Bond Novel
by Sebastian Faulks writing as Ian Fleming
The Resort
by Bentley Little
The books all look like great reads. These are my backup winter books, so if I get snowed in I'll have something to read or I'll just get bored later this week and read them all.

I genuinely cherish the thoughts and insights of my readers, and I wholeheartedly welcome your engagement. However, to foster a truly constructive dialogue, I’ll be keeping a careful eye on the comments section. This means I’ll be moderating to weed out any spammy detritus, overly harsh critiques, or contributions that don’t add anything meaningful to the conversation. Think of it as my little corner of the internet—a space where everyone can share their perspectives without the noise. Let’s make this a place where ideas can flourish and grow, rather than wither away in the shadows of irrelevance.
