I like using Rafflecopter for all my giveaways because you can easily add a "like" Facebook page and follow someones twitter. Plus, it will randomly pick a winner for you.

  2. I have to agree that randomly picking a winner is a big plus. I think that feature is builds confidence in participants, since it is fair and posts automatically.

  5. I stopped using Rafflecopter for a number of reasons - my replacement does the same as Rafflecopter without some of the problems I ran into using Rafflecopter.

  9. Hey, Billy!

Oh, I'm very much a Rafflecopter fan, as you know from my post. I do NOT enjoy pulling names out of a hat. Lol.

Since I don't have a Twitter account (no time for that), I simply skip that entry option when I sign up for giveaways.

I don't allow the widget to announce my winner, though. I prefer to put up a separate post to announce the winner. I just think it's more exciting that way. Also, if I were to have the widget announce the winner, that person's comment might never be seen, if there are a lot of comments on the giveaway post itself.

Thanks for dropping by and commenting!! :)
