Review:

In the murder mystery Truth Stained Lies from bestselling author Terri Blackstock, an ex-lawyer, Cathy Cramer, spends her day as a investigate blogger, writing posts on high-profile homicides. She uses her knowledge to help her brother, Jay, who is the #1 suspect in his wife's, Annalee, murder. To make matters worse, Cathy receives threatening notes on her blog.

Cathy is determined to find the real killer and enlists the aid of her two sisters, Holly and Juliet, and a private investigator, Michael. Holly is a taxi driver and Juliet is a stay-at-home mother of two little boys, but they act as private investigators to help clear Jay of murder. Michael is the brother of Cathy's ex-fiancé who was killed by a drug dealer. Together, they are determined to solve the mystery.

After reading Shadow in Serenity, I eagerly signed up to review Truth Stained Lies, which I received free of charge from the publisher in exchange for my honest review. I'm a sucker for Law & Order and crime shows, so the murder mystery plot hooked me in from the very first chapter. Being a blogger myself, I was instantly connected to Cathy, who’s also a blogger. Truth Stained Lies is cleverly written with twists and turns around every corner. I didn't want the book to end, but the good news is this is the first book in the Moonlighters series. I can't wait for the next installment!

I genuinely cherish the thoughts and insights of my readers, and I wholeheartedly welcome your engagement. However, to foster a truly constructive dialogue, I’ll be keeping a careful eye on the comments section. This means I’ll be moderating to weed out any spammy detritus, overly harsh critiques, or contributions that don’t add anything meaningful to the conversation. Think of it as my little corner of the internet—a space where everyone can share their perspectives without the noise. Let’s make this a place where ideas can flourish and grow, rather than wither away in the shadows of irrelevance.
