[Review] - Goosebumps SlappyWorld: Monster Blood Is Back by R.L. Stine

Available on AMAZON.

If you're nearing 40, as I am, then more than likely, you grew up reading the Goosebumps books written by R.L. Stine (author of the popular teen Fear Street series). Just in case you don't know what I'm talking about, let me give you a history listen. Goosebumps was a hugely popular children's book series throughout the 1990s. From 1992 to the end of 1997, R.L. Stine published 62 Twilight Zone-like stories that gave every young reader nightmares. Goosebumps quickly became a brand name, starting with the Fox Kids television series that ran for 74 episodes. Spinoff books soon followed, such as Give Yourself Goosebumps, Tales To Give You Goosebumps, and Goosebumps 2000, and a slew of merchandise (bookmarks, games, toys, etc.). As fans became older, they moved on to other things, which resulted in the downfall of the franchise. After a hiatus, R.L. Stine returned to the world of Goosebumps with the spinoff series Horrorland in 2009, followed by two other spinoffs, Most Wanted and SlappyWorld, and two film adaptations, Goosebumps and Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween.

{Random Rambling} - Anxiety, Fear of Dating, and Books

Hopefully, everyone is doing well on this fine afternoon. Yes, I said fine afternoon. The snow that fell from the sky yesterday morning is all melted, and the temperatures are in the 40s. I know what you're thinking. While many will consider the 40s to be cold, I believe it's nice. It's warm enough to ditch the coat and cool enough for a jacket.

{Random Rambling} - Dating, Digital Movies, and Snow

There's nothing more pleasant than watching it snow on a late April morning. Seriously! What's up, Mother Nature? Or should I be blaming Punxsutawney Phil? The beaver did predict six more weeks of winter after seeing his shadow. Nevertheless, the temperatures have increased into the 40s, and most of the snow has melted. Luckily, my allergies haven't gone wacky with the sudden weather change.

{Monday Morning Madness] - Feedburner, Interracial Dating, and Baseball

Good Morning, Everyone!

Yes, I'm well aware it's no longer consider morning, but I do have a good excuse for the lateness of this post. For some reason, Microsoft decided to update my laptop this morning even though I have the automatic update settings turned off. It took forever for everything to download, install, and reboot. (FYI - I turned off the updates because I'm sick and tired of Microsoft wanting to install updates every other day. When you have things to do, it becomes annoying.)
