If you've been following my for blog for the past 10 years, then you would know I've been a big of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles since 1987. Like many kids growing up in the late 1980s, I watched the original TMNT animated series. While the cartoon has unfortunately aged quite a bit over years, it's still my favorite TMNT series; though, I did enjoy the 2012 computer-animated series.

Last year, Nickelodeon debuted the fourth TMNT animated series, titled Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,which is oddly similar to the first episode of the 2012 series, Rise of the Turtles. The pilot episode, Mystic Mayhem, was also released "free" on YouTube. Since I love anything that is free, I did watch Mystic Mayhem when it debuted. Let's just say the new animation style didn't appeal to me right away, as well as the many unnecessary character changes; so I made no attempt to watch the new series. That being said, after seeing the art cover for the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DVD, my interest was reignited and I thought it would give the series another chance.

Being released on March 22nd from Sparrow Records (Capitol Christian Music Group) is the EP "Covered" by Mack Brock, a music producer and former Elevation Worship leader.

Mack Brock had released his debut 9-song album, Greater Things, in 2018 and later toured with Rend Collective.

He has been a worship leader for over 15 years. He's the co-songwriter of O'Come to the Alter, Resurrecting, Here As In Heaven, and Do It Again. His songs have been in the Top 50 on CCLI, and four were in the Top 100 CCLI worship songs.

Good or bad, one of my favorite television series to watch is AMC's The Walking Dead, which the second half of season nine is currently airing on Sunday nights. I've never read the comic books the series is based on, but I've been a fan of the show since episode one. Yes, there were a couple of bad seasons, but I've stuck through it and continued watching.

However, I can't say the same thing has happened with the prequel spinoff Fear the Walking Dead, as that would be a lie. I never cared much for first season and I eventually tuned out early on during the second season. I skipped season three completely and only returned to the series when the character Morgan (played by Lennie James) crossed over from TWD for the first episode of the fourth season. Thanks to the much needed change in direction by the new showrunners, Andrew Chambliss and Ian B. Goldberg, I became a fan of the series. I even bought the first three seasons, so I could play catch up during the mid-season hiatus.

Fear The Walking Dead: The Complete Fourth Season ($44.99; Not Rated; 12 hrs 10 mins) landed on Blu-ray, Digital, and DVD this past week from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. I received an early review copy and spent last weekend binge watching the entire 16-episode fourth season.

Season four doesn't pick up directly after the third season finale cliffhanger, instead it begins where the eighth seven finale of TWD left off, where Morgan has isolated himself from the other communities because he feels guilty for killing the Saviors. After a brief cameos by Rick, Carol, and Jesus (played by Andrew Lincoln, Melissa McBride, and Tom Payne), Morgan leaves Virginia and travels to Texas. This is where Morgan meets the soft-speaking John Dorie (played by Garret Dillahunt), a friendly police officer who's looking for his lost love Laura (played by Jenna Elfman). Shortly after their meeting, they're captured by a group of survivors, but are later rescued by Althea (played by Maggie Grace), a journalist driving a SWAT CMTV. By the end of the first episode the trio meet Alicia, Nick, Lucian, and Victor (played by Alycia Debnam-Carey, Frank Dillane, Danay Garcia, and Colman Domingo).

The final eight episodes of the season involves a a fierce storm which separates the group. Along with three new characters, Sarah, Wendell, and Jim (played by Mo Collins, Daryl Mitchell, and Aaron Stanford), Morgan goes on a mission to find his missing his friends.

If party planning doesn't come naturally to you, it can feel like a very stressful process. This is especially true for parents who are naturally introverted. However, it's important for your child to socialize and create memories. If your child is at the age where they can verbalize that they'd like to have a party, make it happen. Consider the following ways you can make sure your child has an amazing party.

1. Create an itinerary.

A timeline will help you to make sure there's no lull in the party. If the party is from 4 to 6 pm, make sure that there's entertainment to last that time. Write down when you'd like to cut the cake, serve the food and play different games. If things are running late, you can adjust. However, it's best to make sure the kids are entertained during the time they're at your child's birthday party.

2. Determine what the menu and decor will look like.

Think about what your child's favorite foods are. It's also wise to consider your budget, allergies and preparation. If it's a lot easier to order a ton of pizzas, that's totally fine. Then, you can focus on purchasing large bags of chips, trays of cookies and the birthday cake. Ask your child what they'd like the theme to be. The theme will help you decide whether you should include inflatables new jersey or another option.

3. Solicit help.
