UNSUNG HERO is an entertaining family drama with Christian themes. At first, I thought it would be about the formation of the band for King + Country, but I was wrong. Instead, the film focuses more on Joel and Luke Smallbone's parents, David and Helen, as they move their family from Sydney, Australia, to Nashville, Tennessee, and struggle to keep food on the table. Then, midway through the movie, the focus changes to their oldest sister, Rebecca (also known as Rebecca St. James), as her father does his best to get her an audition with a record label.
Overall, I enjoyed UNSUNG HERO. It's a well-made, wonderfully acted film about faith, hope, and the love of family, and there's also the love of music. ╌★★★★✰
