* Weekly Tidbits *
- I didn't have a functional toilet or shower until Friday morning. That is how long it took to reach a plumber. Either they didn't return calls or texts or were booked. The plumber that did show up was the one I had hired last month. The problem is around fifty to sixty feet into the yard; I don't know if it's a movement in the ground, a tree root, or the cold. The plumber will return after he has his camera back from the shop, which is currently in the shop. Concrete is expensive; I hope the issue is in the yard rather than the driveway.
- Do you not find it annoying when a doctor tells you that you will receive test results in 24 to 48 hours, but in reality, it takes 4 to 5 days? Anyway, the good news is that my father does not have a blood clot; he has cellulitis caused by some form of trauma. What trauma? Perhaps a vehicle accident on Thanksgiving Eve left him hobbling, but he declined to see an EMT. Stubborn? Yep! Meanwhile, he's taking a second antibiotic, which appears to be helping.
