Welcome to the Book Blogger Hop!
This Week's Prompt:
If you could pick any fictional character to live with, who would it be, and how would they change your daily life?╍Submitted by Billy, Coffee-Addicted Writer.
My Answer:
I'm scratching my head over this week's question, which happens to be my own. I primarily read Westerns, horror, mysteries, and military thrillers, and I can't seem to think of any character I would want to be roommates with. The only character that comes to mind is Sookie Stackhouse from the Southern Vampire Mysteries (True Blood). However, since she is a telepath, it might be best if she didn't know what I was thinking. Honestly, I can't imagine any specific character I would want to live with.

I will admit that this was a hard question to answer as well. I went back with one of my "classic" characters that I resonated with. Kudos to calling it the Southern Vampire Mysteries! That's how I started reading it as until what was it book 8 when it changed hardcover size, I think that's when it made its switch to Sookie Stackhouse since the mystery element wasn't as prevalent. I still call it the Southern Vampire Mysteries as well and people get confused as I guess they know it more as the latter. Or as True Blood. Take your pick. Lol.

Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I believe it was after True Blood became a hit that the publishers switched the series title to Sookie Stackhouse. I have all the books. One of these days, I'm going to reread them.
DeleteI took the question a little differently and thought about which character would actually make a good person to live with day-to-day. 😊 Sookie is definitely an interesting choice, but I agree—a telepathic roommate might know a little more than I’d want them to! Happy Reading! 📚
ReplyDeleteThat makes sense! I chose a fairy for my answer. :)
ReplyDeleteI found it quite hard to think of one. I chose one cursed to live in a Bookshop 😂
