My Answer:

I can fully understand that "life" happens, and you have more important priorities than blogging. But I don't know why you would suddenly, without any notice, delete your blog entirely. A few bloggers I follow have done this, and I'm left scratching my head, wondering what happened. It ends up being a mystery. Wow. That makes a good plot for a mystery novel. Writers, feel free to use that idea.

    1. When someone regularly posts on their blog every week and then suddenly stops for several weeks, I start to worry about their well-being. Additionally, if they delete their blog without informing their followers or readers, I find myself puzzled about their reasons for doing so.

  2. When they disappear for days and weeks on end but their blog is still up, I worry about them. But when the blog disappears completely, then it is simply mind-boggling

  3. I've mostly just had bloggers who had life happen and they quit. They always wrote a goodbye post of sorts to say, hey I'm leaving. So at least there was some kind of goodbye. There were probably a few who just up and stopped blogging. The posts just stopped and eventually their blog was hacked by someone else and they started posting weird stuff. Quickly unfollowed after that happened!

    1. One blogger wrote a goodbye post, stating that everyone knew why they were quitting. However, upon checking their blog, I found no mention of what they were referring to. The blog disappeared shortly after.

  4. I see what you mean. It's a shame that you can't ask them. I've seen some posts where people explain that they are closing their blog or account with the reason why.

    Have a great weekend!

    1. For those who deleted their blogs, I didn't have their contact information. Others who had email addresses or social accounts listed on their abandoned blogs never replied to my messages.
