Billy's Answer:
I have to be honest—I am out of shelf space! It’s a bit of a disaster over here. My book collection has taken over every available surface, from my desk to my dresser, with stacks precariously piled atop each other. It’s a book lover's dream gone a little wild!
To bring some order to the chaos, I’ve started a mini "spring cleaning" marathon. I’ve begun sifting through my collection, carefully selecting books that no longer spark joy for me. Those will find new homes soon, once I tackle the rest of my literary trove.
I’ve also been hunting for better ways to organize my collection, but my current bookcases are the flimsy kind you find at discount stores—definitely not up to the task. I’ve browsed around for new ones, but they seem just as poorly made, yet they come with sky-high price tags! And with lumber prices skyrocketing, building my own isn’t feasible anytime soon, thanks to those pesky tariffs. So, for now, it’s a battle of wills between my love for books and the limited space they have to call home!

I don't have enough space for all my books either. I thought I was going to sell some of my books but then I decided to put them back on the shelf. :) Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou have more willpower than me.
DeleteI don't have enough shelves. I keep looking at walls but have yet to persuade my partner that they need covering in shelves!
