I'm also not a big reader of self-help or motivational books, so I don't seek them out at the start of the year (or any other time, really). My faith is important to me, and I find inspiration and encouragement in my Bible, but it isn't a self-help book in the traditional sense.
ReplyDeleteI do not read self-help or motivational books either.
ReplyDeleteI love to read books about happiness. I do believe I have become happier by reading them.
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading The Temple of Fortuna, a historical fiction novel, and I feel inspired. Not necessarily to make a change, but the struggles the women went through and overcome--just, inspiring. I tend to find inspiration in books even when I am not necessarily looking for it. And more often than not, it's fiction. Thank you for hosting and have a great weekend, Billy!
