Where have I been? Well, I needed a slight break from blogging to unfog my mind. And, I almost skipped this week's post, too, but at the last minute, I decided to give everyone an update on what I've been doing.
Reading has been a bit slow, but mostly on purpose as I had holiday errands to run.
I placed a bookmark inside Not the Killing Kind by Maria Kelson, so that might be my next read; followed by The Primal Hunter: Volume 1. The review for the latter is due on December 30th for a blog tour. Then I need to read and review My Best Friend is an Eldritch Horror: Volume 1 for another blog tour on January 5th.
As you clearly see from my to-be-read list, I have quite a few books I need to catch up on, but I only have so much time to read; even less time with Christmas this week. I might have to "speed read" to get caught up by January 1st. Wish me luck; I'll probably need it.
Recent ARCs in the mail are Christmas in Bethel by Richard Paul Evans, The Primal Hunter: Volume 1 by Zogarth, and My Best Friend is an Eldritch Horror: Volume 1 by Actus.
I got a nice Christmas surprise in the mail, aSTANLEY tumbler from the PR company MOMENTUM Influencers.
What's New on the Bookshelf?
My last thrift store visit was two weeks ago tomorrow. I only found three 10-cent Agatha Christie paperbacks: Postern of Fate, By the Pricking of My Thumbs, and Thirteen at Dinner.
New titles to my Kindle ebook collection are Almost Human by Adam Nimoy, Looking for Smoke by K. A. Cobell, Blood Island by Tim Waggoner, The Whip Hand by William W. Johnstone and J.A. Johnstone, An Obvious Fact by Craig Johnson, Bloody Hand by Matt Braun, and Seldom Disappointed by Tony Hillerman.

Bookworm extraordinaire with a caffeine addiction, I’ve spent years dodging reality in the pages of novels—from spine-tingling thrillers to Westerns that make me feel like a cowboy. Join my chaotic love affair with books and movies at Ramblings of a Coffee-Addicted Writer and Gunsmoke & Grit—where words flow faster than my coffee supply!
