  1. Happy Friday! I'm not really chasing after any first editions. If I had children who were as interested i books as I am, I might. But they aren't the least bit sentimental, and will probably just sell all my stuff after I'm gone.

    1. I don't chase first editions because they're too expensive. However, it would be great to run across one at a thrift store, antique store, or used bookstore at an affordable price.

  2. I honestly couldn't think of any myself. I've always bought the books I wanted to read right when they publish so my books mainly are first editions.

    1. I would love to own first editions of Stephen King's earlier novels and The Haunting of the Hill House by Shirley Jackson. I own the first edition of Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin, but without the jacket.

  5. I honestly don't know that I've ever thought about getting a first edition of a book.

  6. The Haunting of Hill House would be an awesome first edition to have! I’m more into special editions of recent books though

  7. I haven't heard of that one. I'm not very well versed in Shortly Jackson. I went for a Jane Austen or something that a monk hand wrote/illustrated 🤣

    Have a great weekend!

  8. I just came across the Hop today as I was ambling around some of the book blogger sites. I became interested and posted my first Hop reply today. I didn't use the question graphic for accessibility concerns, but I think the way I presented it is okay. I'll promote my post tomorrow. Thanks for doing this!
