{Sunday Post} - Aliens, The Element of Love, and The Witch

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer!

Good Morning, Everyone!

What Am I Reading?

Since I'm between reads, I back to reading Dune by Frank Herbert. I'm currently on page 171.

Last summer, I bought a signed limited-edition of "Terence Fisher: Master of Gothic Cinema" by Tony Dalton. I picked it up from time to time and browsed through the many black & photos. Now I'm going to take the time and read it. Last night, I read the forward and introduction. FYI - Terence Fisher (1904 - 1980) was a British film director, most famous for directing Hammer horror movies.

What's New On The Bookshelf?

I was going to feature The Elements of Love in my regular 'What's in the Mail?' section, but for some reason, I didn't take a separate picture for it, and I'm too lazy to take another photo. Bethany House sent me The Elements of Love by Mary Connealy. It's the exact opposite of my current reads, but once upon a time, I did read many romance books, including a few by Mary Connealy.

I picked up The Witch by Jean Thompson at the library. No, I didn't pay $2 for it. I found the book in the "Free Books" section.

Two new titles on my Kindle are The Complete Aliens: Omnibus Volume 5 (Original Sin, DNA War) and Volume 6 (Cauldron, Steel Egg).
