Good Evening, Everyone!
What Am I Reading?
Reading wasn't exactly a top priority for me last week. Thanks to the spring weather arriving early, my allergies kicked in, which has put a strain on my eyes. Someone recommended to me to take a Vitamin A supplement which I started taking yesterday.
One Wednesday, I had to help move and install a new washing machine and dryer for my parents, so my back is a little store for it. Since the weather is warmer, my mother and I will begin going though my grandmother's belongs in the storage unit. Throwing stuff away and donating other things. We're not getting rid of everything.
This week, I finally going to read The Chill by Scott Carson. I would do this last week but at the last minute I had to read an eBook for a book tour I had forgotten about. However, before The Chill, I will read The Girl Who Loved Twice by David Lagercrantz as I need to return the book to the library by the March 11th.
I'm reading Moonraker by Iran Fleming on my Kindle. Then I'll be reading Diamonds Are Forever, followed by other 007 novels.

What's In the Mail?
Out of the blue, I received an ARC of Masked Prey by John Sandford. I've seen the author's books in stores, but I have read nothing by him.
Mill Creek Entertainment sent over two Blu-rays - Return of Ultraman: The Complete Series and Ultraman Orb: The Original Saga.
Another Buffy Book!
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Volume 3 arrived in my mailbox yesterday afternoon. It contains the books - Carnival of Souls, One Thing Or Your Mother, and Blooded. The latter title is only one I already own.
Dollar Tree Finds
While I was at the Dollar Tree store over the weekend, I picked up Outrage by John Sandford & Michelle Cook and Radiant Angel by Nelson DeMille. I'm not an enormous DeMille fan, but Radiant Angel looks like an interesting read. The only reason I got Outrage is because I received an ARC of the Masked Prey by John Sandford earlier in the week.
What's New on the Bookshelf?
There are two new titles on my Kindle - The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski and Star Trek: Prometheus: Fire With Fire by Christian Humberg and Bernd Perplies.
I'm so fascinated with the Ian Fleming reads. I'll be really curious to see what you think of these as you go forward. and Ultraman!! Wow I think I saw an Ultraman movie once but it was years ago. I think he fought (or fought with) Godzilla? Now I'll have to look it up. :)
ReplyDeleteGodzilla? I don't believe I have seen that one. I do know many Godzilla suits were reused for other creatures in the Ultraman series.
DeleteI’ve liked the last few Bond movies, I’ve never read anything by Fleming though.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great reading week
