[Product Review] - Aquatru Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Filters

 *This is a sponsored post/review.

As industrialization and modernization has mad dour lives easier, it has also made it less livable at the same time. Increased pollution, deteriorating air and water quality and climate changes have made us all more vulnerable to diseases and allergies. Water remains an important lifeline but unfortunately, one can only dream of finding clean and pure water in their pipelines. Usually, it’s simply hard water that is not only unfit for human consumption, but also results in faded laundry, skin allergies, and limes ale buildups.

Water purifiers are a revolutionary product that can put our hard water issues to rest, but with so many different water purifiers available in the market, it becomes super hard to figure out which product would be the best pick. I was looking for a countertop water filter, since I mainly required clean water for cooking and drinking, and had some counter space available, I opted for a counter top water purifier. ProductAdvisor is a great platform to lookup for the best product in various categories. It suggested three options to choose from.

The budget option, iSpring, has an impressively low price but is also a very basic filter. On the other hand, the premium option, RKIN, is a bit too pricey and is slightly large in dimensions. Therefore, I opted for the reverse osmosis system by Aquatru, which also happens to be the bestseller.

Price and Design

The Aquatru Reverse Osmosis system clocks at $426 on Amazon. It weighs about 23 pounds and has a sleek and compact design. The elegant white exterior is aesthetically appealing and is designed to blend well with most modern kitchens. It is a ready to use water purifier that takes barely few minutes to assemble and saves you from the hassle of plumbing and complex assembling.

Technology

The Aquatrue Water purifier relies on the same water purification technology that is used by most top bottled water brands. It uses a 4-stage reverse osmosis system. The first stage is a Mechanical pre-filter, followed by a Reverse Osmosis pre filter, Reverse Osmosis Membrane and an Activated Carbon Filter.

Performance

The Aquatru Reverse Osmosis system is high on the performance grid. It takes about 15 minutes to purify a gallon of tap water which is quite decent. The purification levels are highly impressive since it can eliminate nearly all hard minerals and contaminants including Lead, Copper, Chromium, Fluoride etc., without altering the taste of water. The package includes two extra filter that can be changed very easily. Each filter is usable for about 6 months to 24 months depending on the usage of water.

Other Key Features

The Aquatru purifier is an easy to maintain equipment and filters are long lasting. As a result, it turns out to be super economical in the long run, despite having a high initial price. Besides that, the water wastage is impressively low during the purification process and it consumes much less energy than other filters of the same league. The product comes with a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty.
