Monday Morning Madness - The Apocalypse is Upon Us!

This post will serve as my "It's Monday! What Are You Reading?" (hosted by The Book Date).

Good Morning, Everyone!

I hope everyone is doing well this morning!

It seems everyone is a little worked up over the current epidemic, which is being overhyped by the media. Don't get me wrong, everyone should be sanitizing their hands and staying clear of anyone who's sick with anything, especially the elderly. Wear a face mask, if need be. However, there's no need to stockpile toilet paper! Good grief! COVID-19 attacks your respiratory system and not your gastrointestinal system. Have some common sense, people!

What Am I Currently Reading?

Like I mentioned in last night's Sunday Post, I'm attempting to read The Chill by Scott Carson and, hopefully, I'll be able to finish reading it one of these days. Since there's nothing else going in the country this week, maybe I'll finally have the time to read. I mean literally everything has been delayed or canceled — Major League Baseball, movies, etc.

Also on my agenda this week is Goosebumps Slappyworld: Diary of a Dummy by R.L. Stine. I've been reading the Goosebumps stories ever since I was in middle school (otherwise known as the early '90s). I would've read this book earlier this morning, but I sorta slept in a little bit.

On my Kindle, I'm trying my best to read all the 007 novels before my 99 cent 3-month Kindle Unlimited deal ends on March 30th. Wish me luck! Originally, I had planned on posting my first 007 at the end of the month, but thanks to No Time To Die being delayed, I'll be posting the reviews in November.

  1. Store shelves are quite bare here in Minnesota. I can understand the depletion of cleaning products but toilet paper is baffling to me too. My brother works at Target and they are much busier than usual selling all sorts of things. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  2. I did my grocery shopping this morning and luckily it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. It was pretty busy and there were a few empty shelves but I managed to get all the essentials without too much fuss. Enjoy your reading this week!
