I signed up for the Goodreads challenge too, although I don't really count that as a challenge since I purposefully set my goal so low knowing I will reach it long before the end of the year. I just like to watch the percentage rise above 100%. 😊 I don't like to reach for a numeric goal, but for some reason, I always set a Goodreads goal anyway...
ReplyDeleteI did sign up for a couple of other challenges though that I am taking more seriously.
Having a goal of reading 52 books is less pressure for me, though I'll easily read more way more than that this year.
DeleteThat's a pretty good number. Goodreads reading challenge is always something I've signed up for since I found out about it in 2011 :)
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a good challenge.
DeleteI had editing issues with my post. It made me completely forget my GR challenge.
ReplyDeleteI always hate it when I have post issues. 50 books is a solid reading pledge.
DeleteGood luck with your 2020 challenge!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI'm the same as you, I only want to set a number of books to read and nothing else.
ReplyDeleteI don't have time to participate in other reading challenges. However, I did read 13 horror books in October last year but that was my own challenge.
DeleteGood luck with your challenge! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteGood luck with the challenge, Billy.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI am excited to see so my folks joining in the HOP this week.
ReplyDeleteHope to see everyone each week.
I'm glad more bloggers are joining the hop!
DeleteWOW! Popular BBH this week, Billy. :-)
ReplyDelete52 books seems like a reasonable goal. A lot of the series I read have short novellas which is why I do challenges beside the Goodreads number one.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Here's my BBH Post
