Good Afternoon, Everyone!
What Am I Currently Reading?
Tomorrow, I'll be reading Decaf for the Dead by Sandy Lo, who nicely sent me a review copy. I posted an interview with Sandy Lo on Saturday, which you can read right here!
Last week, was a reread week for me with The Shining and Doctor Sleep. I'll probably be writing reviews for them sometime later in the week. I never got around to reading Rise of the Gorgon by Galen Surlak-Ramsey so it'll probably be next read after Decaf for the Dead. Then I'm going to start reading the books I have lined up for this year's Holiday Gift Guide.

What's in the Mail?
I received four review copies in the mail last week, which all the titles are part of this year's Holiday Gift guide. The titles are: Mister Roger's Neighborhood, 'Tis the Season Murder by Leslie Meier; An Amish Second Christmas by Shelley Shepard Gray, Patricia Johns, and Virginia Wise; and Once Upon A Dicken's Christmas by Michelle Griep.
Paperbacks From Hell
If you read last week's Sunday Post, then you would know I had recently purchased Paperbacks from Hell on eBay just a few days before title went on sale on Kindle for $2.99, which I ended up buying. I received the paperback just a few days ago. Besides from a small nick in the top corner, it's in mint condition. I haven't had a chance to read it yet but I have glanced through it and it's amazing. You have to be a fan of old horror novels to know exactly how I feel about it.
Great Finds
I stopped by the local thrift store on Saturday. While I didn't find any books, I did find these nifty looking bookends for $2.
What's New on the Bookshelf?
There are several new titles on my Kindle - The X-Files: Ground Zero by Kevin J. Anderson, The X-Files: Antibodies by Kevin J. Anderson, Easy Death by Daniel Boyd, and False Negative by Joseph Koenig.I won the eBook Anger and Death by Ron Ripley from a LibraryThing giveaway. From NetGalley, I got the newest edition of The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Lerdux, which will be published in January.

I genuinely cherish the thoughts and insights of my readers, and I wholeheartedly welcome your engagement. However, to foster a truly constructive dialogue, I’ll be keeping a careful eye on the comments section. This means I’ll be moderating to weed out any spammy detritus, overly harsh critiques, or contributions that don’t add anything meaningful to the conversation. Think of it as my little corner of the internet—a space where everyone can share their perspectives without the noise. Let’s make this a place where ideas can flourish and grow, rather than wither away in the shadows of irrelevance.
