  Billy's Answer

No, not really! I love blogging, though it can be stressful at times when you have post deadlines. I have no intention to quit blogging anytime in the near future. Since I've made a few changes to my blog at the end of last year, it has been less stressful for me and I can now enjoy blogging again.

  1. I love blogging too, but taking a break now and then has contributed to my blogging longevity. My planned breaks are often just one two weeks, sometimes longer around the holidays. It's what works for me at least. But then, I don't keep up with stats and am a rather small blog. It suits me best.

    1. I guess I sorta took a break this week from blogging this week, but I've been busy with other things and just didn't have the time to write any new posts. I ignore stats too.

  2. I don't really take breaks, but I do batch pre-schedule what I can if I know I've got a super busy week etc. Glad to know you plan on sticking around!

  3. I love blogging as well! It's my hobby alongside reading and how I get to share about the books I read! Not too many of my real life people enjoy reading as much as I do!

    Here's my Book Blogger Hop

    Have a GREAT day!

    1. I don't have anyone in my life (besides from my fellow bloggers) to share my love of reading with, which is one of the reasons why I blog.

  4. I agree. Blogging is too much fun and my favorite hobby!!

I don't see giving it up any time soon.

    1. Blogging is fun, but it can also be stressful if you have too many deadlines to meet, which is the main reason why I quit participating in book blog tours that have spotlights, interviews, blurbs, and release date posts.

  5. Taking a break helps my health and when I come back I have more willing power to blog. Sometime it's okay to say "I have enough" for a bit.

  6. In January, I hardly blogged at all because I just wasn't inspired to write about anything. This question is not just for me, but for everyone to reflect on their blogging experiences. Thanks for answering!

    1. I get that way too sometimes. I can stare at a post draft for an hour and come up with nothing to write about.

  7. Good planning can definitely make a difference. I'm glad the changes you implemented have helped you.

  8. The only real 'break' I took is when I moved and did not have any internet, or when I had surgery - but even then, I had pre-scheduled posts that went out. So it's as if I was still around.

    1. I wouldn't call moving or having no internet as taking an official break.

  9. I had an unplanned break, which taught a few things. This allowed me to reengage with my true reasons for blogging.
